Overall, Pokémon the Movie: I Choose You is a real treat for fans of the series. While there are certainly issues that bring it down somewhat, these can be overlooked. Undoubtedly this is one of the best Pokémon movies in quite some time.
Kakegurui is completely shameless in its fanservice, unsubtle handling of the negative affects of gambling, and utterly unapologetic about its ruthlessly psychotic characters and its ridiculous premise - and that’s exactly why the series is so enjoyable
Overall Grimgar: Ashes &Illusions might seem like just another entry in an overcrowded genre but thanks to some quality writing and love from A-1 Pictures, it stands out as one of the best. Even if you’re feeling burnt out on isekai titles, I’d strongly recommend that you give Grimgar a chance.
Overall Sword of the Stranger is a bit of a mixed bag. The story, animation and cast are a strong point - if you can overlook the predictable path of the plot - but the music really lets things down. This isn’t a must-watch for anyone but could still be a hidden gem for BONES.
From P.A. Works (Shirobako), the full trailer for Mari Okada's anime feature film debut, "Let's Decorate the Promised Flowers in the Farewell Morning" (Sayonara no Asa ni Yakusoku no Hana wo Kazarou) has been released ahead of the film's February Japanese release!
The first teaser trailer for the latest anime film from Mamoru Hosoda ("Summer Wars", "Wolf Children"), "Mirai from the Future" has been released - alongside news of a summer 2018 Japanese theatrical date!
With a lovable cast of characters, superb animation, and a real attention to detail, Hyouka comes highly recommended by me. It might sound boring on the surface but give it a try and you’ll find something truly fascinating.
